The Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs set a fundraising record at Lobsterfest. Steamboat Pilot & Today reported on October 8, 2026, that the dinner raised more than $400,000 for LiftUp of Routt County. A $100,000 gift from Yampa Valley Bank prompted an anonymous donor to add a $50,000 match. More than 300 guests ate lobster at Bob Adams Airport on August 22.
LiftUp, in its 30th year, reaches about 1 in 7 Routt County residents through its food banks, and it also helps with emergency bills, casework, and thrift-store vouchers. The club has raised more than $1.2 million for the Yampa Valley since the event began in 2019. Last year's dinner had brought in more than $250,000.
