Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opened the Ozark Discovery Canopy, an outdoor playscape on its Bentonville campus, Axios Northwest Arkansas reported. A news release said visitors can splash in a flowing water feature and creek, turn a large boulder, lounge on oversized hanging benches, and race down a wide, family-sized slide.
The museum says it is not a traditional playground. It sits with the campus trails and outdoor art, near the North Forest Trail and the parking garage by the Scott Family Amazeum, and it is open from dawn to dusk every day. The opening follows a major expansion of the museum earlier this year.
